When I stream content via AirPlay on my Roku TV, I could not find any audio. The video is playing perfectly, but for some reason, the sound isn't coming through. I have cross-checked all the settings on both my TV and device, but nothing seems to be working. Is this common, or is my device at fault? Can someone share any tips or troubleshooting steps to help me resolve this issue?
The problem may be with your device or the content you stream. Sometimes, the video you stream on Roku TV lacks audio. To test it, play other content from the app. If it plays, the problem is with that particular video. If the audio alone is not working during AirPlay, the first thing I would prefer to do is to disconnect the AirPlay and restart the Roku device & iPhone. Then, AirPlay the iOS device again to Roku TV.
Also, check whether you have properly configured audio output settings. If not, change it to the correct source. Then, put the Volume to maximum level and check if it works. If none of the steps resolve the problem, try updating the Roku TV and the AirPlay device.
Still, if you can't AirPlay the audio, reset the Roku to factory settings. Perform the Reset process only if necessary and keep it as the last method to try. Even after the reset, if the problem continues, it means that there is a hardware defect. Contact the Roku support team to resolve the issue.
