I have replaced the batteries on my Roku remote since the old batteries are drained out. Now, the problem is the Roku remote isn't pairing. I could not see the LED lighting blinking as well. I did the basic troubleshooting, like re-inserting the batteries and restarting the remote. This doesn't give me a hand.
What was the reason behind this issue, and how can I get rid of this?
Some Roku remotes have a pairing button located inside the battery case. You need to press the button to pair the remote to your Roku device. Remove the battery case on the remote and press the Pairing button until green blinks. Now, the Roku remote will be paired with the Roku.Â
While pairing the remote, make sure that no objects are placed near the TV and blocking the signal between the remote and the TV.
Sometimes, the problem may be with the device. Restart the Roku and try pairing the remote again.Â
If none of the steps work, it is recommended you buy a new remote or contact the Roku support team, as there may be internal damage on the remote.Â
